The Bay: Nature and Wellbeing Volunteers

Can you assist with health and well-being sessions around Morecambe Bay?

Help The Bay project run weekly two-hour long Nature and Wellbeing sessions using the coastal environment and natural world to have a positive impact on people’s health and mental well-being.

No prior experience is required, however ideally the volunteer would be able to give their time each week so that they can form relationships with those in the group.

Group activities range from conservation, growing, arts and crafts, mindfulness and nature walks.

The group participants have the opportunity to gain a John Muir Award and AQA qualifications, you could get yours too!

The volunteer will require a DBS check prior to involvement.

To find out more information or register your interest, please email us at info@thebay.org.uk in your email let us know if you want to volunteer at the Barrow-in-Furness, Morecambe or Wyre hub.

Further details of the project can also be found on our website: www.thebay.org.uk
