About the event
Lancashire Wildlife Trust, Fylde Council and Blackpool Council work in partnership on the Fylde Sand Dunes Project in order to enhance the nature conservation interest, public appreciation and enjoyment of the dunes. The guided walks aim to promote the importance of our amazing dunes and to provide information about the project and our local wildlife.
The walks are available on various dates throughout the year. If you would like to attend one of our guided walks the details are:
Meeting Place: Please meet at North Beach Car Park, Clifton Drive North, Lytham Saint Anne’s, Lancashire, FY8 2TR (Please note this is a pay and display car park)
Time: 10am until approx. 12pm
Price: FREE (donations welcome)
What to bring: Suitable clothing and sturdy footwear for walking along the dunes and beach, change for the car park.
Please note: This event is not suitable for those with reduced mobility. There are also no toilets at the start of this event so please use the facilities elsewhere before attending. A toilet will be available in the Nature Reserve Hut, that is reached about half way through the walk. Thank you.
These FREE guided walks are offered to you by passionate volunteers of the Fylde Sand Dunes Project. The success of these guided walks hugely depends on attendance so please come along and join us.
